PAYMENT

1) DEPOSIT: We require a 40% deposit on all orders. Ours is a CUSTOM business. Each order is | built or ordered to customer specification and cannot be resold. 2) PAYMENT: We take cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard and with correct identification, cheques, at time of shipments. GOODS CANNOT LEAVE OUR BUILDING WITHOUT PAYMENT. A deposit must remain on any goods backordered. 3) ON ACCOUNT: We do open accounts for regular customers. An application must be made, processed and approved before goods can be shipped on account. It does take time to check the suppliers' references. Title to the goods remains with Walker door & Window (Canada) Ltd. until full payment is made. 4) COD: Cash on Delivery. We prefer not to collect the payment on site because it often results in extra problems and expenses. The truck driver cannot unload the goods without payment in full. It is often difficult to time a delivery perfectly so someone is on site to pay. Without payment the trucker has to return the goods to Walker. If the COD cannot be delivered, the customer will have to pay all the additional freight and handling costs in addition to cost of goods, in advance of delivery on the second occasion. Walker Door does not do COD deliveries out of town or to Whistler. FREIGHT

1) TERMS: Shipments are FOB from our Vancouver store located at 1366 SW., Marine Drive. This | means the customer owns the goods as soon as they are put on the truck. 2) CLAIMS: Customer must claim agains the freight company for any shipping damage. Examine your goods at time of delivlery and note on the freight company's Bill of Lading with any damage. Do not sign a clean Bill of Lading if goods or packaging is damaged. 3) UNLOADING: Freight companies are not required to carry the goods to a site location. Most truck drivers are very helpful but be prepared on site with people to move your merchandise. Note: there is only one truck driver and no helper in the truck. 4) DELIVERY TIME: Truck companies will not guarantee a delivery time. They will often try to commit to morning or afternoon. Due to traffic problems, there are no guarantees. Be prepared to wait. 5) BACKORDERS: Walker Door often coordinates your order from a number of suppliers. Consequently the order may have delays while waiting for completion. If the customer takes partial shipment there may be additional freight charges applied to backorders. CONFIRMATION

1) ACCEPTANCE: Returned goods will not be accepted without prior authorization. | 2) RESTOCKING CHARGE: If the return is authorized it will be subject to a restocking charge, according to the manufacturers policy. NOT ACCEPTED Returns will not be accepted on goods further processed, i.e., installed, painted or stained. Inspect your goods on delivery. Walker Door will not be responsible for installation charges or refinishing charges. |
